There are some far worse reasons going on that cause huge problems too. One is people who have kids to increase their welfare check and food stamps (they don’t think this through) and another is people who have kids to fill the void of their meaningless or miserable lives. These two types are the worst offenders. They absolutely exist and this kind of thing happens all the time. Most of these people lack the cognitive ability to fully understand the gravity of the decisions they are making.
