Social media is a terrible way to gain useful information about others.

Very interesting read Hanna! I question the wisdom of using social media to keep tabs on anyone about anything. I feel like this assumes that the information is both accurate and complete. We all know that just isn’t the case. Still, I understand that it makes someone feel better to monitor a dangerous person. But all that is is an illusion of safety.

The police maintain dozens and dozens and dozens of fake FB profiles for the purposes of tracking pedophiles and drug transactions. I’d suggest calling the local sheriff if there is a dangerous person on FB.
