Setting aside for a moment the fact that absolute statements are almost always wrong (e.g., there’s nothing wrong with divorce), maybe some things should be stigmatized. And since you want to make this about women, even though it isn’t, did you know that women initiate aboit 80% of all divorces in the US? Do you know what the research says divorce does to children? Do you know what it does to suicide rates in men? Do you know what it does to people’s finances? Social standings? Friends? Remarriage prospects? And did I mention children? There is plenty wrong with divorce. That doesn’t mean divorce isn’t justified sometimes and even necessary. But it’s naive to suggest there are no consequences to divorce, and that’s absolutely implied when someone makes a silly statement like “there’s nothing wrong with divorce.”

Yes there is. Plenty. Try it sometime and you’ll see. Or go up to someone who’s in the middle of a child custody battle, slap them on the back, and exclaim “don’t worry friend. There’s nothing actually wrong with divorce!” See how well they appreciate it.
