Medium feels like a sinking ship. Very recently it seemed like a site that truly rewarded quality content. But now it just rewards popularity. For example, bullshit self improvement articles. Or bullshit relationship articles. Or bullshit articles about women pontificating about their sex organs (yes, there are scores of these). Or now, bullshit articles about COVID-19. At this rate, a year from now the entire site will just be comprised entirely of tiktok videos and Instagram memes, original thought and quality be damned.
