I work with clients in the lowest of the low socio-economic brackets in this country. 75% of them worship Trump. I also grew up in an upper middle class neighborhood in Jacksonville, FL. I know plenty of wealthy people who worship Trump, too.

Bottom line is this — many people are very angry, and legitimately so, about the economy and about the ineptitude of our government. To them, Trump is a boat rocker. For most, it has nothing to do with race or white pride. At least, not directly. They like the fact that he is a wrecking ball. Every calamity that happens is a victory. The left fundamentally does not understand this truth.

I have one family with whom it work — elderly grandparents — who see Trump as the line between them and radical Islam. The culprit there is ignorance and lack of education. Universally, they saw Trump as the lesser of two evils. Many people are frightened of Hillary Clinton.

So it’s no great mystery. Ignorance and fear are powerful weapons. Trump knows how to use them.
