Americans like to make things out of things that aren’t usually things. Like age. In Italy, for example, it used to be pretty common for men in heir 40s to marry teenage women.

I’m not sure why we should care about age. It’s about fit. It’s about mutual interests. It’s about connection. Short of crimes being broken, why should anyone care about age?

As for older men liking younger women (and this describes me) — it’s not a big mystery why. Why would you not be interested in a youthful, fit, life in her eyes woman with no children? I’m not saying that older women are not attractive — they are. I’m just saying it’s not rocket science why men go for younger women.
